LKG Movie Review

RJ Balaji has gradually gained lots of fans across the times, especially for his philanthropic activities and FM shows. Having played comedian roles in many movies, he makes his debut in lead role through the film ‘LKG’, which is a political comedy. The film is directed by debut filmmaker Prabhu, who earlier worked with Prabhu Deva as associate director. The film is about a youngster, who decides to kick-start his political journey and his father (Nanjil Sampath) is a politician as well. What happens when he comes across lots of personalities in the political world forms the premise of this movie.

First and foremost, there have been certain assumptions about the film that it is an out and out movie based on trolling the political standards. Although, this is the fact, there are few thought-provoking moments in the film that might stand out to be an influential factor in enlightened the people as they are preparing to vote for the upcoming elections.

Musical score by Leon James is pretty much appreciable. Every actor in the film manage to steal the show and they are flawless with their performances.

Overall, LKG isn’t just a time pass movie, but keeps us engaged from beginning till end.
