Famous distributor acquires the rights of Velaikaran: After the superhit Remo Sivakarthikeyan is donning the lead roles in Mohan Raja’s Velaikaran and Ponram’s film. Apart from this, he has Ravikumar’s film and Shivan’s film in his hands. Ravikumar had earlier directed a film titled Netru Indru Naalai.

In the film Velaikaran, Nayanthara is pairing with Sivakarthikeyan. Moreover Leading Malayalam actor Fahad Fazil is donning an important role. Sneha, Prakash Raj, Thambi Ramaiah, Robot Shankar, R J Balaji, Yogi Babu, Satish and Vijay Vasanth are starring in the cast. R D Raja is producing the film under the banner 24 AM Studios.

Anirudh is composing the music while Ramji is handling the camera. Ruben is taking care of the editing. Recently the first look teaser and a single track Karuthavanlaam Galeejaam were released. There was an overwhelming response for this.

Now R Sivakumar has acquired the Thanjavur and Trichy theatrical rights. The film is being released on 22nd December on the occasion of Christmas.
