Kalavani 2 on the cards- Will Oviya be a part of this: Kalavani is a superhit film which had Vemal, Oviya, Ganja Karuppu and Soori in the cast. Sargunam made his debut as director through this film. Actress Oviya had also debuted as heroine. At this juncture, the sequel to this film is being produced. Vemal will be donning the lead role. Sargunam will be directing this film. Soori and Ganja Karuppu will also be a part of this film also.

But it is yet to be decided about Oviya. Vemal who celebrated his birthday yesterday announced about this film. Vemal has currently donned the lead role in a film titled Boopathy Pandian. Vemal has produced this film under the banner A 3 V Cinemas. He will also be donning the lead role in a film to be directed by Vasanthamani who had earlier directed the film titled Vetrivel.
