Famous actress to remake ‘Hindi Medium’ with Ashok Selvan: After 144, Ashok Selvan has donned the lead roles in the film Sila Samayangalil directed by Priyadarshan and Kootathil Oruvan directed by T.J.Gnanavel.

Both the films are waiting for release. Ashok Selvan is currently having Nirman's Nenjamellam Kadhal and Metro fame Anandha Krishnan’s film in his hands. At this juncture, Ashok Selvan has been signed for a new film.

Famous actress Lakshmi Ramakrishnan will be directing the film. Earlier Lakshmi Ramakrishnan has directed the films Aarohanam, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe and Ammani. This new film is the remake of the Hindi film Hindi Medium which had Irrfan Khan in the lead role.

Talks are being held with Aishwarya Rajesh, Nanditha and Manjima Mohan for the heroine role. Announcement regarding the title, actors, actresses and crew members will be made soon.
