Dhanush reveals that he is not donning dual roles in Asuran

After the stupendous success of Polladhavan (2007), Aadukalam (2011) and Vada Chennai (2018), Vetrimaaran and Dhanush are joining hands for the fourth time in a film titled Asuran. The shooting of the film which commenced during the month of January is going on in rapid pace. At this juncture, Dhanush participated in the shooting of Dhanush 34 directed by Durai Senthilkumar. Sneha is pairing with Dhanush in this film. At this juncture, Dhanush has mentioned that the shooting of Asuran has resumed and also added that this was the last schedule.

Manju Warrier, Balaji Sakthivel, Pasupathy, Aadukalam Narain, Yogi Babu and Guru Somasundaram are sharing the screen with Dhanush. Vijay Sethupathi will be making a special appearance. G V Prakash is composing the music. The film is based on the famous Tamil novel Vekkai written by novelist Poomani. The film speaks about land grabbing and how a family is affected by this. The shooting of the film is in the final stages and will be wrapped in couple of days. It has been announced that the film will be released on 2nd October.

Now it has been announced that the teaser of the film will be released on 28th July (Dhanush’s birthday).

It was earlier mentioned that Dhanush is donning dual roles. Now Dhanush while speaking to the media has revealed that he is not donning dual roles but only one role with three different getups.
