Kee Movie Review: Jiiva had banked lots of hopes upon this film ‘Kee’, which remained inside cans for nearly 2 years. Produced by Michael Rayappan and directed by Kalees, the film has Nikki Galrani playing the female lead role. The film is loosely based on the lines that is similar to Vishal’s Irumbu Thirai, which was about the innocent people being affected by the technological exploitations especially mobile phones.

Jiiva is a hacker leading a happy life with his parents – Rajendra Prasad and Suhasini Maniratnam. he has a super cool gorgeous girlfriend (Nikki Galrani) and his pal (RJ Balaji), who is merely used for humour. Just as things are going happy for him, there comes a twist as one of the most powerful hacker ruining his life. Now he has to set out and get the scores settled.

Jiiva’s performance is extremely good and he is someone, who would incessantly deliver a nitty-gritty show irrespective of what role he performs. Nikki Galrani lacks the substantiality in her character and not to miss RJ Balaji’s funny episodes. Padmasoorya does a remarkable job with his performance.

When it comes to analysis, there are gripping moments in the film that are really appreciable, but they turn out to be a disappointment when packaged with unwanted commercial elements.

Verdict:  Holds a good theme, but doesn’t get presented well

Rating: 2.25/5
